World Geothermal Congress 2015

Verkís participates in the 2015 World Geothermal Congress. Meet us at the Icelandic Pavilion covering booths nr. 49, 50, 55 and 56.

Verkís is one of the world leaders consulting firms in geothermal utilization. Our project portfolio includes consulting for the power plants owned by Icelandic power company Reykjavík Energy at Nesjavellir and Hellisheiði, as well as having been the principal consultant for power company HS Orka for the geothermal power plants Svartsengi and Reykjanes. Verkís has also been involved in the development of power plant Krafla in northern Iceland and the two geothermal power plants currently in the design phase in the North-East, Bjarnaflag and Þeistareykir (NAL). for the national power company Landsvirkjun. Verkís is currently involved as Owner's Engineer and main consultant in the development of geothermal plants in Kenya and Turkey and has conducted due-diligence of various geothermal projects in Europe and worldwide for the EBRD and various private developers. Verkís always seeks to provide the best and most economical solutions, thus building long term relationships, testified by approximately 80% of our annual turnover being generated from repeat clients.
