Procurement and negotiations
Verkís has handled procurement and contract negotiations on behalf of clients or in cooperation with clients in connection with numerous projects.
This most often involves contract negotiations for the design, construction, or maintenance of structures, or purchases of machinery and equipment.
A large share of the procurement process consists of drawing up tender documents that can be divided into two basic parts: technical tender documents and those specifying the terms of business. If required, Verkís hires experts to conduct the procurement process on a client's behalf. These specialists can handle everything from putting together the tender package, identifying and pre-selecting suppliers/bidders, advertising tenders, receiving bids, opening and evaluating offers, negotiating contracts, organising transport and managing inventories at the construction site, as well as administering construction contracts and handling change management and project completion.
