Due-diligence and technical assistance in the framework of PLUTO (EBRD), Turkey
As of this spring, Verkís has been engaged together with ISOR, Iceland Geosurvey, and local support to conduct due-diligence and provide technical assistance for one of the geothermal projects under consideration by the EBRD within the Early Stage Geothermal Support Framework (PLUTO).
The framework agreement for the enhancement of the Turkish energy sector is in line with the EU Energy Strategies Fund provided by the European Union. The consortium led by Verkís is one of the entities that were awarded a framework agreement with the EBRD. The objective of the programme is to finance exploration activities and provide technical assistance in applying best practices with the ultimate purpose to reduce risks and boost geothermal development and utilisation in Turkey.
