Project overview:
The College of Mosfellsbær, an upper secondary school, is located in the centre of Mosfellsbær, a town close-by Reykjavik. The building is approximately 4.000 m² with 400-500 students. It was the first phase of the project, design with a substantial growth opportunities with the future in mind. The building is designed in BIM building information system.
The school relates to the environment, landscape and the town with it´s shape and choice of materials. This connection creates a good foundation for the policy of the school, which identify itself with resources and environment. The school has three divisions, arts, science and literature.
