Emergency power systems

  • Smaralind

Verkís has provided consultancy services and design work for numerous emergency power systems for a variety of enterprises and institutions, including hospitals, telecommunications companies, hydropower stations, factories, and shopping centres.

These include both large and small systems that generate anything from a few kW to several MW. As a rule, there are stringent requirements for the choice of equipment, in order to accommodate circumstances and anticipated strains, and to ensure safety and reliability. The services provided cover all parts of emergency power stations: structures, diesel engines, generators, fuel systems, cooling systems, batteries, power systems, control systems, protective equipment, auxiliary equipment, and safety gear.
