Contaminated land – Past lessons and present solutions

On Monday, a one-day seminar was held in Verkís called “Contaminated land, Past lessons and present solutions”. The seminar was held in collaboration with the companies Envytech, Haemers and Regenesis.

The seminar was well attended, both in the meeting room at Verkís headquarters and online via Microsoft Teams. The day was divided into three parts and all lectures were held in English. Erla Guðrún Hafsteinsdóttir, Environmental and Geochemical Scientist at Verkís, gave the first talk and discussed FUMÍS, a newly founded professional association on pollution in Iceland, etc. The moderator was Kristín Kröyer, an expert at the Environment Agency

Verkís thanks for an interesting and fun day where important issues were discussed.
