IIGCE geothermal conference 2023

Haukur Þór Haraldsson, Business Development Manager, and Carine Chatenay, Marketing Manager in the field of Energy and Industry, represented Verkís at the IIGCE Geothermal Conference. Indonesia’s Jakarta hosted the conference, which came to an end last week. The ninth time the conference was held, and it was regarded as a success.

The event attracted a large number of businesses, institutions, and associations involved in geothermal production and utilization in Indonesia and around the world, but these gatherings are beneficial for exchanging ideas and launching new initiatives and businesses.

The use of geothermal energy in relation to energy exchange and environmental concerns is receiving a lot of attention. Along with sharing a booth at the exhibition, Verkís, Mannvit, Green By Iceland, North Tech Drilling, ÍSOR, and Rigsis also met with Jakarta organizations and businesses involved in geothermal issues.
