Verkís is responsible for fire technical design and designing of structure, pipes and electric systems.
The house is divided into a dormitory which is on two floors and a meeting room which is on one floor and connected to the buildings will a hallway.
Foundations and bottom plate are casted while other parts of the house are made of timber.
The architect is Sigurður Hallgrímsson at Arkþing Architects and Verkís is responsible for fire engineering and structural design, piping and electrical systems.
The first phase of the building is expected to be ready to use in August 2021.
