Viðey RE

Viðey RE is a wetfish trawler built at the Celiktrans Shipyard in Istanbul, Turkey. Viðey RE arrived at its home port in Reykjavík on the winter solstice, December 21, 2017. A reception ceremony was held the next day in Örfirisey, and on that occasion the ship was officially named. The vessel is almost 55 metres long and 13.5 metres wide

Verkís managed the following work components; design, drawings, programming and testing of control systems for hold systems, fish sorting and cooling systems, design, programming, installation and testing of display systems, and operational control of hold and display systems.
