Asset management of production equipment is necessary in order to maximise equipment reliability and get the most out of production. The same applies to the buildings themselves, they must receive regular maintenance during their lifetime.
We provide our customers with consultation on how to build an asset tree of equipment and controlling how it should be managed, inspected, and regularly maintained to ensure smooth operations.
This includes the implementation of reliability analyses, root cause analyses, organisation of condition analyses, organisation of tools and spare parts inventory, planning of maintenance operations, and general consultation to increase the knowledge and understanding of customers on the importance of effective maintenance management. Verkís also offers integrated consulting for production and maintenance management.
Our experts have worked on substantial projects for some of the biggest companies in Iceland. Of particular note are the structure of Fjarðaál’s asset tree, a simulation model of Norðurál’s maintenance processes, and reliability analysis of Fjarðaál’s equipment.
